"Health check" on assessment system to begin

Kathleen Tattersall told the Ofqual launch event about a new programme of work on the reliability of the assessment system.
Speaking at the National Motorcycle Museum in the West Midlands, the new Chair said a review of tests, examinations and teacher assessments would be "at the forefront of our agenda."
An expert panel would be appointed to oversee the work, she told delegates.
The aims and aspirations of the new regulator were all achievable and would benefit learners, Kathleen added.
