Joint statement by the regulatory authorities
This joint statement, by the regulatory authorities for external qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland on the revised National Qualifications Framework, should be read in conjunction with the statutory regulation of external qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland April 2004.
This document was published by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). The regulatory function of QCA is now the responsibility of the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual). Ofqual regulates qualifications and monitors national curriculum assessments in England.
