Performance of awarding bodies for general qualifications: 2007 report

The regulators of external qualifications have established performance expectations for the quality of service that awarding bodies provide and have published a detailed code of practice that awarding bodies must follow. It monitors and reports on the performance of awarding bodies against these expectations and requirements every year.

This document was published by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). The regulatory function of QCA is now the responsibility of the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual). Ofqual regulates qualifications and monitors national curriculum assessments in England.
