GCSE and A level examinations: MORI report 2007

Last updated on: 11/03/2008

This report follows five waves of a quantitative survey of perceptions of A levels between 2003 and 2006 (and, since 2004, perceptions of GCSEs).

In addition to tracking questions from the previous five waves, the 2007 study includes some new questions on: accuracy/quality of marking; preparation for employment and further/higher education; enquiries about results services; and preferred channels for the receipt of exam results.

This document was published by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). The regulatory function of QCA is now the responsibility of the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual). Ofqual regulates qualifications and monitors national curriculum assessments in England.
