What is the examinations timetable and what does it allow you to do?
The examinations timetable is an online tool that allows you to create a personalised examination timetable across all five unitary awarding bodies months in advance.
You can search for and select examinations using the online tool, build a complete timetable for your centre, and then export the complete timetable into Excel and save or print it out. This will save you time and allows you to plan your examination series and have the information readily available at any time.
How do I access the interboard examinations timetable?
You may wish to bookmark this page, so that you can revisit it at any time to select exams and build a complete exams timetable for your centre.
More information about the examinations timetable is available on the 'exams office' pages of the NAA website (opens in new window) website.
How often is the information on the interboard examinations timetable updated?
The examination dates for each series are updated twice a year, with the provisional dates updated 11 months before the series and the final dates updated seven months before the series.
What qualifications are included on the interboard examinations timetable?
The interboard examinations timetable includes timetable information from AQA, CCEA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC, offering:

- STEP.
There are currently no plans to include timetable information for other qualifications in this tool (such as key skills or national curriculum tests).
How long will my selection be saved for using the interboard examinations timetable tool?
Your selection is remembered using cookies stored on your computer. Your selection will be saved as long as this cookie exists on your computer. However, you may wish to export your timetable and save it to your hard disk to ensure it is not accidentally deleted.
How can I distinguish between A2 and AS examinations in the interboard examinations timetable?
At present the data in the timetable tool does not show a distinction between AS and A2 qualifications; both AS and A2 examinations are contained within the GCE qualification. You should use the examination codes to check which examinations are AS and which are A2.
You can find out the examination codes by contacting the relevant awarding body.
