The regulators (Ofqual, CCEA and DCELLS) require a thorough exploration and measurement of the experiences of schools and colleges in managing and delivering controlled assessment, and in particular a consideration of whether there are improvements that can be made, such as to available guidance. The research should be capable of providing reliable findings for each of the three countries (England, Northern Ireland and Wales) whilst representing good value for money.
