Promoting Public Confidence: Parental confidence in 3 to 14 assessments

We are seeking a contractor to undertake a postal survey to determine the following information:
a) the levels of parental confidence in the EYFS, KS1, KS2 and KS3 regulated assessments
b) the factors which may contribute to parental confidence in regulated assessment arrangements
We require 1,200 parents to respond; 300 with children in the EYFS, 300 with children in KS1, 300 with children in KS2 and 300 with children in KS3. Socio-economic factors in identifying the survey sample will need to be considered to ensure that the requirements of the 2010 Equalities Act are met.
A final report consisting of 5,000 words and including descriptive statistics, cross tabulation tables, charts and comprehensive analysis of survey data is required. This should be submitted to us no later than 10th October 2011.
