Research project: Estimates of Teacher Assessment Reliability

We are inviting tenders from recognised awarding organisations and research institutions with access to the appropriate data.
Research funded under this project is intended to generate reliability estimates for teacher assessments, which include the statutory teacher assessment used in National curriculum assessment, controlled assessment used in GCSE and coursework used in GCE. The teacher assessments selected should be in use, or be under trial for possible use, to produce measures which contribute to the overall judgement of grades or levels in certificated qualifications or National Curriculum assessments.
To undertake this work you will need to have access to the data for assessments included in your study. You will also need the necessary technical expertise to define the methodology and undertake the statistical analysis.
