Changes to A levels in Summer 2010

Summer 2010 sees significant changes to A levels, which are taken each year by approximately 500,000 candidates.
Ofqual and its regulatory partners (DCELLS in Wales and CCEA in Northern Ireland) have a responsibility to ensure that standards are consistent across time and across awarding organisations in the interest of candidates.
We have written a number of open letters and held briefing events to raise awareness of the changes and the work being done to maintain standards during this time of change.
