Ofqual publishes statistical bulletins on summer 2010 examinations

We have today published four statistical bulletins on the summer 2010 examination series:
- Enquiries about results for GCSE and GCE: June 2010 examination series. This report provides details on the number of enquiries about results and the number of those that resulted in changes to candidates' overall subject grades.
- Access arrangements for GCSE and GCE: 2009/2010 examination series. This report details the number of access arrangements processed by awarding organisations to allow open access to candidates with a disability or difficulty that might place him/her at a substantial disadvantage during an examination.
- Special consideration in GCSE and GCE: June 2010 examination series. This report presents the number of requests and adjustments made to the marks of candidates who have not been able to demonstrate their attainment because of exceptional circumstances.
- Malpractice in GCSE and GCE: June 2010 examination series. This report covers any reported breaches of the regulations that might undermine the integrity of an examination.
The bulletins cover GCSE and GCE examinations in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, provided by the five awarding organisations; AQA, CCEA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC.
