GCSE Science accreditation

Ofqual can confirm that, to date, 35 new GCSE science specifications have been accredited for first teaching in September 2011. Details of accredited qualifications can be found on the Register of Regulated Qualifications.
Only qualifications that fully meet the required standards will be accredited by Ofqual. More GCSE science specifications are expected to become available in the coming weeks as awarding organizations’ continue to submit specifications that meet the criteria.
