Sandra Burslem signs Memorandum of Understanding with KICE

On 5th July 2011 Sandra Burslem, Deputy Chair of Ofqual, and the President of KICE (Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation), Professor Seong Tae Je, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Ofqual's office in Coventry.

The MoU ensures we have a good relationship with KICE who have are taking part in our study into the International Comparability of Senior Secondary Assessment (ICOSSA) and sets out the ways in which Ofqual and KICE can pursue mutually interesting research.

ICOSSA is about comparing the demand of pre-university qualifications available to candidates in England against a range of qualifications available to similar learners in other parts of the world.
