Learner Panels

We conduct learner panels throughout the regions so we can find out directly from learners what they like, what they dislike, and what they would change about tests, examinations and assessments.
Excerpts from some of our learner panel consultations have been posted on YouTube. You can click on the links on this page to watch them.

As well as visiting schools and colleges, we also met up with groups of young people not studying exclusively at school. We wanted to talk to them about how being assessed and taking exams and tests could be made easier for those not at school; get their opinions about studying for qualifications when they are not at school regularly; and find out what they thought about new qualifications and systems like the Diploma.
